What score do you need to pass?
Each module is marked out of 100 and passes at 60. In this app you are marked ready when every module is at least 70.
How to prepare
You plan something with a partner, you present a topic, and you react to what the partner presented. Preparation time exists before you go in; the speaking clock is the shorter one on this page. Use the preparation to pick two reasons and one example, not to write a script you will read.
A reaction is not a second presentation. Say what you understood, whether you agree, and one question.
A worked example
Du hast gesagt, Homeoffice spart Zeit. Das sehe ich auch so. Aber wie hältst du Kontakt zu den Kollegen?
Repeat one point, give a position, ask one real question.
Candidates who start their own topic at this moment lose the interaction score.
What usually drops the point
- Reading notes sentence by sentence and stopping when the note ends.
- Agreeing with everything and adding nothing.
- Asking “Und du?” with no link to what was said.
How to use the mock
Structure the presentation as three beats: point, reason, example from your life or from the prompt. Then stop. Invite a question. Practise with the microphone in the mock.
- Present “public transport in my city” for two minutes with that three-beat shape.
- React to a partner with the sentence frame above.
- Plan a weekend trip: each person must reject one idea and offer another.
