What score do you need to pass?
Each module is marked out of 100 and passes at 60. In this app you are marked ready when every module is at least 70.
How to prepare
You are expected to organise a long turn and to adapt it when someone challenges a definition. Prepare definitions you can defend: what you mean by the key noun, and what you do not mean.
In discussion, concession is a sign of control, not of weakness, if you then say what still stands.

You define the word before you argue. The partner can now disagree with the definition or with the conclusion.
Undefined key words produce a fluent argument about two different topics.
What usually drops the point
- A speech of examples with no definition and no end.
- Correcting the partner’s personality instead of their claim.
- Filling a forgotten word with English and abandoning the sentence.
How to use the mock
Open with the definition, give one case, name the limit, stop. Invite the challenge. Answer the challenge before you add a new case.
- Define one abstract noun in two sentences and give a case.
- Concede one point and restate what you still hold.
- Record six minutes and cut every sentence that did not move the definition, the case, or the limit.
